EDITOR'S REVIEW:
By the end of 2019, I was mentally and physically exhausted and ready for the year to end. So was my hair! Have you ever kept your hair up in a puff or bun for so long that it began to fuse? Yes?

I am you.
You are me.
We are she.

My hair was a dry matted mess, and I feared that I may have to chop off a large portion of hair. I couldn't even section my hair off. The day I finally decided to stop procrastinating and tackle my hair, I reached for the TRESemmé Pre-Wash Detangling Butter. I read the directions and began massaging the butter into my dry hair. I applied the product everywhere and left it in for about 30 minutes. I then began attempting to finger detangle my hair.

Nothing budged.
I could hear my hair ripping.

I grabbed a wide tooth comb and began trying to detangle from ends to roots. LOL

NOTHING BUT A CLOWN!

I finally decided to spray my hair down with water while the butter was in it. When I tell you that the magic began at that moment, and I really believed that universe had heard my cries. The tangles and knots began to loosen. I did what I could with my fingers and then I grabbed my TRESemmé Styling Finishing Brush.

This brush really made the difference. There wasn't a wide tooth comb in the world that would get through my hair, but the styling finishing brush allowed me to get through my hair with minimal hair loss. Also, It really defines my curls and gives the Denman Brush a run for it's money.
5 out of 5 combs!

Would I buy this product again? Yes,  however, I finished a third of the 300ml jar in one sitting. As a pre-wash/pre-poo alone, it's nothing really special, but the combination of silicones really gives the hair slip (when mixed with water) and ability to detangle relatively easy. It has a typical strong TRESemmé scent.

I give this product a 3 out of 5 combs!
