What is Soft-Sheen Carson up to? Amla Legend for two different brands...

I love strolling down the hair aisles of various stores to get a peek of what's new on the shelf. Well, I happen to spot a new Dark and Lovely product line called Amla Legend on the shelves of my local CLICKS Pharmacy. See the picture below and details of line.

  • AMLA Legend Damage Anti-Dote Oil Moisturizer
  • AMLA Legend 1001 Oils Cream Night Wrap

So, I'm staring at this line and can't help put think that it looks really freaking familiar. Yeah, I know that a lot of products contain amla oil and aqua green packaging is all the rage as well. I whip out my phone a Google "Amla Legend" and their I see that Optimum Care products in the states have a line named the same exact thing. Soft-Sheen Carson owns both Dark and Lovely and Optimum care, but I just thought it was very interesting.

The Dark and Lovely line is less two products ( Body Filler Hair wash and Body Filler Hair Cream). I have zero information about the line of products except for the little bit of information that I have dug up from the internet. I am ASSUMING for now that the ingredients are same in both product lines. If that is true then the below information should be very interesting to you.

I will definitely be trying the Billion Hair Potion and 1001 Oils Cream Night Wrap, so stay tuned for those upcoming product reviews.

I really need you guys to sound off for this one. If your in the US and have tried the Optimum Care Amla Legend line, let me know what your experience was in the comments. Same goes for those us in South Africa, have you tried the Dark and Lovely Amla Legend line? What were your thoughts?

    Shampoo is amazing! After just one wash. My hair felt silky soft and smooth, almost as if I conditioned my hair!

    I love checking the hair shelves too to see wat i can get for my hair i saw this new amla legend line and i fell in love instantly so i bought it n its currently in hair care regime i use the billion hair serum its amazeballs smells nice my hair is softer fuller n even shinier am also using the deep treatment replenishing hair mask it feels awesome in my hair n i can tell my hair loves it

    I bought the Dark and Lovely relaxer, I relaxed my hair and it feels and looks very good. The hair is smoother and it looks healthy.

    DO not use this product. I used this product and my hair FELL OUT. I dont mean got thin...I mean BALD. I had not permed my hair in 8 weeks and I saw this product. It sounded like a product that would protect and nourish my healthy hair. As soon as I applied it it started to sting so I immediately went to rinse it out and my hair started falling out in clumps. I am 45% bald as a result of utilizing this product.

      Do NOT USE this Amla relaxer. My hair burned and came out in clumps and I have a bald spot in my hair. This never happened to me

    I have used the AMLA Legend Billion Hair Potion (Serum) mixed with coconut oil and castor oil beautiful stuff indeed my hair feels soft, shinny and stronger you can actually notice the difference. i also used (Optimum) AMLA Legend 1001 Oils Cream Night Wrap i loved the smell and its doing wonders to my hair. tho i have heard so many complaints regarding the relaxer .

    The entire range is amazeballs!!! It took me over a year b4 trying the oil moisturiser because I was put off by not seeing green on your review. I'm so glad I did. It really makes my hair soft and manageable. Seems to tame my frizz too. I love it.

    The whole range is superb. The shampoo makes hair super soft. The relaxer is great but will burn your scalp if you don't use the base gel. It took me over a year to try the oil moisturiser because the ingredients are less than ideal but I found it to be good to my hair. It leaves it soft and smooth and I think tames my frizz. I love it ALL!
