For all you ladies that don't use shampoo, and even hate sulfate-free shampoos, this homemade honey shampoo may be right up your alley. It's simple to make, easy to use and 100% natural.
Ingredients:
- 100% Raw Honey
- Distilled or De-ionized Water
- Vitamin E
- Essential Oil (optional)
Directions:
- Warm the bottle of raw honey in a cup of warm water. Do not heat over the stove or in the microwave.
- Mix 1 Tablespoon of the honey with 3 Tablespoons of distilled or de-ionized water.
- Use 2 Vitamin E capsules for the mixture for it's anti-microbial properties
- Add up to 5 drops of your essential oils
This recipe makes a single use. You can make a larger batch if you like, but I would store it in the fridge to keep it fresh.
Application:
- Apply the mixture directly to the scalp
- Massage the scalp well
- Rinse thoroughly
- Follow with an ACV rinse if you like
It's important to mention that everyones experience will be different. Some folks will have exceptional results immediately, others will go through a transitional period and the rest will hate it. So try it and let me know.
