My Review

Anyone who knows me knows that I love moisturising sprays. I used this spray after washing my hair with the JO’M 2-in-1 Hair Shampoo. The thing about the JO’M product line is that they don’t have a traditional deep conditioner. My hair regimen has a strict deep conditioning portion, so I was very sceptical about this process. Anyway, I went ahead and divided my hair into 8 sections, and saturated each section with this spray. I twisted each section after applying product from root to tip and detangling with a wide tooth comb. This spray has a pleasant orange scent and is a lot oilier than I expected it to be. I allowed my hair to air dry in these twists before applying the next step of the JO’M cosmetics line. My hair was incredibly shiny and extremely soft, but way too greasy! I really wasn’t happy with this since I knew that I would have to follow-up with JO’M Moisturiser Cream, which looked to be very rich. Eish! I wasn’t happy.

What were the results? Shiny soft hair that

didn’t resemble an oil slick.”

Luckily I used the JO’M hair products for 2 full weeks exclusively, so the next week I tweaked things a bit. I detangled in smaller sections and sprayed a lot less product. I still twisted my hair up for an air drying session. What were the results? Shiny soft hair that didn’t resemble an oil slick. Victory was ultimately mine in the end, but this product needs a serious disclaimer to not use too much of it! I suspect that this spray will be a staple for me when I rock a sew in weave. I will apply this rich spray to my braided hair underneath. I give this product a 31/2 combs out of 5.
