By . - Monday, March 23, 2015

I know what you're thinking. You already use ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) as your clarifying rinse. Why do you need something else? Well, if your like me and get tired of your hair smelling like feet after an ACV rinse, this Lemon Tea Clarifying Rinse is the way to go!

Lemon Tea Clarifying Rinse

  • 3 Tbsp black or green tea, depending on your hair color (or 5-6 tea bags)
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp honey
  1. Steep your tea fro 30 minutes in boiling hot water. Strong tea is the goal!
  2. Add in the lemon juice and honey
  3. Once the tea has cooled completely, you can now use it as a hair rinse.

**Note that lemon and honey have been known to lighten hair over time, so please use with caution.**
