MY REVIEW: I decided to use this product in it's 3 different capacities to see which method would suit my hair.

As a Co-wash

This product is right in the middle when it comes to thickness. I would say that it has decent slip, but adding an extra oil to it would help if your hair is really tangled. It did leave behind a slight residue that I attribute to the shea butter. I don't mind the residue but I wouldn't use this product to co-wash with on a daily basis.

As a Deep Conditioner

I applied the product from root to tip on towel blotted hair. I covered my hair with cling wrap and let it sit for the allotted 15 minutes. I rinsed out the conditioner after the proper time had passed, and I have to say that my hair was SO SOFT! I decided to let my hair air dry afterwards without any product, and although I would have left the house that way, my hair was so light and fluffy. It definitely reminded me of what my hair was like as a child. This is a winner!

As a Leave-in Conditioner

I applied the product to towel blotted hair from root to tip. Then I applied my curl enhancing cream and oil as usual. My hair was very soft and moisturized. I would definitely use this product as a leave-in since it's an excellent base for curly hair, and I use a lot less when I use it as a leave-in.

I give this product 4 out of 5 combs!

  1. Looks like a great product, though slightly pricey. I'd just like to know, what is your curl enhancing cream?

  2. I hace this conditioner and I really wasn't sure how to use ir. I've used it twice as a wash out conditioner but since its on the expensive side here in the US, I'll use it in the three ways you did. Thank for this review!
