Natural Hair Meet-up in Cape Town with Curly Nikki!

On December 28, 2013 I got the opportunity, along with a bunch a fabulous ladies, to meet Nikki Walton of CurlyNikki.com.  We ate, drank and talked about our natural hair for a few hours in Cape Town. It's amazing how many ladies are on a healthy hair journey in South Africa. All the hair companies that told me there wasn't a natural hair market in South Africa must be choking on their own words. We were in the house and turnt all the way up!

I happened to be rocking box braids at the time, but the rest of my girls had their fros out, and they were most certainly killing the game and repping SA so fabulously.

Nikki was generous enough to give us all a copy of her book Better Than Good Hair.
