I love all things hair related, so when I was approached to introduce the True Love Mobi App on Good Hair Diaries, I jumped at the chance with great excitement. TRUE LOVE magazine, fulfilling its mission to give women everything they need (on the go), has created a mobi app dedicated to celebrating and flaunting fabulous hair days. Truelovehair.co.za is the ultimate space to display styles, read expert tips and tricks on how to care for your tresses and, most importantly, browse for some ‘hairspiration’. Think of it as street style – but for hot hair!
“I want our readers to use this mobi app for inspiration – I want them to be brave, show off their style and also use it as a chance to try new things,” says TRUE LOVE beauty editor, Thami Kwazi.
“They now have a resource at their fingertips that they can take to their hairstylists when they want to try something new. They can say ‘this is what I want’, without it being intimidating. Instead of just using celeb images, they can see how a style translates for real women like themselves.”
The TRUE LOVE Hair mobi app is feature phone and smartphone compatible and allows users to upload from their picture roll or take a pic on the go, browse styles according to categories (braids, extensions, natural hair, coloured hair) and find new places to update their ’dos.
I urge you all to go to Truelovehair.co.za, register on the site and start uploading your favorite DIY hairstyles, or even hairstyles that you are drying to try but don't know how.
