Is Your Hair Fried, Dyed And Laid To The Side?

Fried, dyed and laid to the side = Over-processed hair

Over-processed hair can happen in the blink of an eye. A few days, weeks or months of consistent flat ironing. Maybe you colored your hair once or several times within a few months, or you get your relaxer touch-up incorrectly and too often. Whatever your culprit of choice, your hair is left dry, limp and screaming for some love.
What are the clear signs that your hair is over-processed?
  1. Hair is brittle and breaks off very easily.
  2. Hair lacks that natural shine and luster it once had.
  3. Your hair is nearly impossible to style. It doesn't hold a curl for the life of you!
  4. When your hair is wet, it stretches and stretches until it snaps off
Have one or more of these issues? Well, there may be a way to breathe life back into your hair with my trusty friend coconut oil. Coconut oil can restore shine, protect from protein loss which strengthens the hair. Here's how you use the coconut oil

Step 1 - Boil some water and put your container of coconut oil in the heated water. This will make it liquid and heat it up of course.

Step 2 - Apply the warm coconut oil to your hair in sections from root to tip. Hair does not need to be dripping with oil, a good coating is all you need.

Step 3 - Leave the oil on your hair for 30 minutes to an hour and be sure to massage the scalp. Feels freaking awesome!

Step 4 - Rinse, shampoo and deep condition as usual

This coconut oil treatment should be repeated once to twice a week for at least 1 month for the best results. I promise that your hair will thank you by looking and feeling amazing. Now don't go off and ruin it with more over-processing.
