I've really enjoyed wearing my hair straight since my length check. I have to say that cutting my hair back in January was the best idea I ever came up with. My hair looks a lot healthier when it's straight and it's ability to hold a curl is also pretty excellent.
I'm getting my hair ready for another protective style. I retained a good amount of length and I'm excited to cover it back up. Not to mention that the weather is getting quite chilly in cape Town. The CT wind wreaks havoc on my hair and I'm really not about that life.
My next protective style will be a sew-in weave and I'm going for the look below. What do you guys think?
I'm feeling it! It will remain this way for 8 weeks and I'll be announcing a new challenge for that precious hair underneath. I can't wait to see how much length I retain this time around. I'm focused on getting to APL (arm pit length) by June 2013. No excuses!
My new protective style and the new hair challenge will begin on April 3, 2013.
