Good Hair & Beauty Diaries 2011 Hair Regimen

After posting my length check I thought it would be appropriate to talk about what my hair regimen consists of. I will explain what I do daily, weekly and monthly.

Daily
    Africa's Best Organincs Carrot Oil 7.5 oz. + 4.5 oz. Free
  • Moisturize my ends with Organics by Africa's Best Carrot Oil Cream because it's water based.
  • Seal my ends with Extra Virgin Coconut oil
  • Massage my scalp with my Cayenne Pepper Oil Growth Aid
  • Set my hair in bantu knots, twist & curl or braids and cover with a satin bonnet. 
Weekly
    Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Replenishing Conditioner
  • Once a week I deep condition with a moisturizing conditioner. Anything that says moisturizing on the bottle. I might add some coconut and avocado oil. I deep condition overnight and rinse in the morning. I ALWAYS AIR DRY!
  • Once a week I deep condition with a protein conditioner. If I don't have a protein conditioner, I add an egg to anything and mix it up. I always add Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Castor Oil and my Cayenne Pepper Oil to my protein treatments. Don't ask me why... I ALWAYS DEEP CONDITION OVERNIGHT!
Monthly
    Alberto VO5 Moisturizing Hot Oil Treatment, 0.5-Ounce, 2-Count Tubes (Pack of 6)
  • I clarify with a clarifying shampoo, and if I don't have one in stock I just add baking soda to whatever shampoo I do have.
  • I do a hot oil treatment with Extra Virgin Coconut Oil or my Cayenne Pepper Oil which has a ton of Coconut oil in it.


Things that I want to add to my regimen
  • Drinking 3 litres of water everyday
  • A skin, hair & nail vitamin or maybe a prenatal vitamin daily
  • Use a wide tooth comb only once a week and eliminate the brush all together.

That's my regimen. Nothing too complicated or product based. My next goal is MBL.
